The tour begins with a guided visit of the basilica, cloister, library, and Chinese room. During the approximately 50-minute tour, you will have the opportunity to discover the highlights of the monastic complex and learn more about the monastery’s thousand-year history.
During the wine tasting that follows, you will have the opportunity to visit the historic vineyards and discover how the climate, landscape, and tradition have influenced viticulture in Neustift. In the tasting room, you will taste three selected wines, accompanied by explanations of their origin, aromas, and character.
In total, you should allow about 120 minutes for this guided tour of culture and taste. The offer is aimed at adults and children aged 12 and over. Children can enjoy our refreshing monastery apple juice during the tasting. Please understand that children under the age of 12 are not allowed.
