Synopsis
To this day, the canons find relaxation among ancient ginkgo trees and a sequoia, and you too can experience monastic tranquility here in the midst of nature and enjoy a moment of pause.
After its restoration in 2004, the abbey garden of Neustift Abbey was divided into three areas: the orchard with a piscinum, the herb garden with around 75 medicinal and aromatic plants, and the baroque ornamental garden with a fountain, bird chapel, and historic fish pond.
The garden can be visited independently from May to September, Monday to Saturday, during the opening hours of the Abbey Museum.
Alto Adige Guest Pass holders can get free admission by presenting the Alto Adige Guest Pass at the ticket office.
